Chicago Sponsorship Opportunities

Hosting the exhibit in Chicago and the influence it will have on giving back

Anyone can be a philanthropist! By sponsoring The Soul of Philanthropy Chicago exhibit, you’ll be supporting Chicago’s philanthropic community and joining one of the year’s biggest events. And, you’ll be making a difference. Your sponsorship dollars will be reinvested in Chicago’s Black community, where they will benefit neighborhoods and change lives.

Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy (CAAIP) will present The Soul of Philanthropy Chicago exhibit from February through April 2023. This exhibit reframes the story of Black philanthropy and will feature a component specific to Chicago. CAAIP is a membership organization that promotes dialogue between philanthropic and nonprofit organizations, advocates for equitable and effective philanthropy in African American communities, and builds infrastructure for equitable leadership in the social sector. As we work to foster community among Black people in Chicago and across the Midwest, The Soul of Philanthropy offers an opportunity to grow a community of people committed to increasing the visibility of Black leaders in philanthropy, building a cohesive and vital community, and redirecting philanthropic resources and decision-making to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) communities.
