Community Events

The Soul of Philanthropy exhibition extends beyond the physical display of telling the story of African American giving. It will also include a robust offering of talks, panel discussions, and public forums designed to explore a broad range of topics to ignite a movement of conscious philanthropy. Join us for programs offered throughout the city at community-based organizations and black-owned businesses. These events will engage a multigenerational audience in conversations about the history of philanthropy, our current movement for change in philanthropy, and a reimagining of the future of philanthropy.

Event themes include the environment, the arts, wealth generation and extraction, youth engagement, women of color in philanthropy, and more.
